“Who has influenced your passion for equestrian?”
I think I was born with a passion for horses. My mum Melanie and my Aunt Lynne are both passionate horse people and they have both been a big influence on me. Since I was a child they have both supported and encouraged me to follow my passion for horses. I have met many great people and horses along the way who have all helped shape me. One of the other biggest influences has to be my partner Willingapark Clifford, who has taken me on a journey I could never have imagined.
“What do you do to prepare yourself for competition?”
I am a little boring, no superstitions. I feel prepared when I have done the training and packed the truck!
“What is your dream riding goal?”
To represent my country again, even better if it was at an olympics.
“Which is my favourite JNF feed?”
My favourite feed is the Platinum Low Gi. I have found this feed to suit a variety of horses at different levels. I find the slow release energy helps have the horse in a productive frame of mind for training but also offers plenty of energy when needed. I also love that it’s ulcer and gut friendly for my hard working Event horses.
