Who has influenced your passion for equestrian the most and why?
Truthfully and without sounding cliché it is Deon. He is such a compassionate and sympathetic rider while still being incredibly effective. I strive to be as quietly effective as him especially in a crisis.
What has been your biggest riding-related accomplishment?
That is almost impossible to say. I have ridden for Australia on Young Rider teams, the most notable being the North American Junior Dressage Championships which was an incredible experience, I have had Grand National placings with show horses, HOTY champions, Royal Show champions, national dressage champions and the champion of champions young dressage pony at DJWTS in two consecutive years, I have also enjoyed every second of training the GRP stallion, Cheval De Luxe to Grand Prix. I started riding when I was 5 yrs and I did my first state dressage champs when I was 8 so my riding career has spanned 36 years and counting. ????????
What do you do to prepare yourself for competition?
I have to read someone my test at the end of every warmup before I go in. I also like having all my things in my tack box which includes a tiny magnetic stuffed donkey toy which I have had for as long as I can remember.
What is your dream riding goal?
I would just like to get my next lot of horses through to Grand Prix. I love competing and I hope to get each one I have to Grand Prix if I can.
Which is your favourite Johnson’s Natural Formula feed and why?
My favourite is the Platinum Low GI. I like that it is a low glycemic feed which is perfect for all horses but particularly for the German Riding Ponies that we have. I also appreciate that it has mycotoxin binder as I think that is important as a preventative of so many things.

Who has influenced your passion for equestrian the most and why?
Andrew Hoy and Isabelle Werth – they are both consummate professionals and have remained at the top of their respective disciplines notwithstanding the changes and evolution that both dressage and eventing has faced over the span of their careers.
What has been your biggest riding-related accomplishment?
Winning dressage national championships at multiple levels on multiple horses which have all been incredibly special for different reasons. I have trained a number of horses from 3yr old to Grand Prix as well as 5star eventers which is unusual from a professional rider perspective, and I am proud to be able to say that I have done that.
What do you do to prepare yourself for competition?
I drink an Ice Coffee.
What is your dream riding goal?
I very much hope to represent Australia in the future at either dressage or eventing, I am not too fussy! I have some wonderful young horses that I hope to campaign overseas at some point in the future.
Which is your favourite Johnson’s Natural Formula feed and why?
My favourite feed is the Alfalfa Plus and the Platinum Low GI. I dislike that a lot of feeds are high molasses and sugar content. I honestly believe this is not good for horses. The Alfalfa is a versatile feed and as with all the Johnson’s feeds is ulcer friendly which is perfect for performance horses. The full fat soybean in the Platinum Low GI is also good for their skin and coats.
