Where you are from: Balmattum, Victoria

Who has influenced your passion for equestrian the most and why?

I have many but the longest standing has been Emma O”Shea (Webb). I remember seeing her in a magazine years ago and since that I’ve always loved watching her. Shes also a very good friend of ours now.

What has been your biggest riding-related accomplishment?

Winning Australia’s Greatest Horsewoman Champion 2022

What do you do to prepare yourself for competition?

I Listen to a particular motivational speech called “Leave a Legacy”. It’s not even about horses but about remembering your why. Makes me remain present and appreciate being able to do the things we love rather than getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of show life.

What is your dream riding goal?

I have two – Final on my favourite gelding This Cat Curls at Australia’s Greatest Horseman in 2025 and make the NCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity final on a horse I’ve started and trained all the way through.

Which is your favourite Johnson’s Natural Formula feed and why?

We feed Platinum Low GI and sometimes Weight Gain. We love the condition our horses hold all season. We travel a lot and there’s some long days for them being stabled when they’re not used to it. We have never had a horse drop condition or stop eating whilst under the pressure of competition.
