Who has influenced your passion for equestrian the most and why?

Mitch – My grandfather was the biggest influence for me being involved with horses. He was a stockman & campdrafter and we spent many hours horse back together whilst I was growing up. He really taught me a lot and ignited the fire in me to become a good horseman.

Steph – Lots of people influenced my riding career and enthusiasm for horses, I’ve been very fortunate to have many great mentors & friends throughout this journey so it’s hard to credit just one! But David Norbury has been a huge influence for me as a trainer.

Steph – There’s been lots of achievements with different horses that are all very special to me, coming Reserve Champion Australia’s Greatest Horsewoman, Open Futurity Champion at SNSW Reining Horse Assocation & winning the Race2Ranch Challenge have been very memorable!

What is your dream riding goal?

Mitch – My ultimate riding goal is to train a horse all the way from a 2yo right through to it being an Open Bridle Horse in the Cowhorse. This takes many years and a special kind of horse!

Steph – I’d like to one day win the Reining Australia Gold Buckle Futurity! And also to show a horse in the USA.

Which is your favourite Johnson’s Natural Formula feed and why?

Mare and Foal feed bag
MARE AND FOAL

Mitch & Steph – we love Mare & Foal as it can cross over for our performance horses, breeding stock, spellers & training horses. Nothing gets hot or fizzy but it keeps everyone shining from the inside out and the horses love it!

Fibre Safe feed bag
FIBRE SAFE

We also love adding Fibre Safe for an extra bump up of fibre, especially during the drier months when grass is scarce.
