Growing up on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, horses have always been an important part of David’s life. After learning to ride at the age of four, he developed a passion for thoroughbred racing and went on to breed and race multiple race winners of his own. David was also trusted with the security of Melbourne Cup winner Kensei, Japan Cup winner Horlicks, along with Cox Plate winners Almaarad and Super Impose ahead of key feature races.

From his first job assisting a Riverina based equine veterinarian, David has over twenty years of experience in the veterinary, pharmaceutical and animal nutrition industries. During this time, David has worked tirelessly to promote optimal horse health outcomes through the design of a feed range, horse wormers and welfare programs.

Qualified in photography, David worked as a Press Photographer and also covered Equine events across Australia and New Zealand. Being involved in the TV series Jump Off where Off The Track Thoroughbreds were re-educated and jumped under competition conditions by some of Australia’s top show jumpers was a culmination of many of David’s skills.

In his spare time David likes to spend time fishing, snorkeling, photographing nature, organic vegetable gardening and relaxing with family.
